Global Brand Direction

Brand Vision & Visual

A visual language developed over several years at La Prairie — across campaigns, films, identity systems and artistic collaborations.

Brand Expression

GMM Overview Video

An annual overview film bringing one year of brand work into a single visual sequence. Conceived as a conference opener, it sets the direction rather than recapping it.

Women & Bauhaus

The woman at the centre of La Prairie's visual language is never described — she is felt. This Bauhaus-inspired collaboration reflects the brand's commitment to mentorship and cultural dialogue across generations.

A presence

more than a figure.

Always there.

Never fully revealed.

Art

Art as

Commitment

Art Patronage

A sustained engagement with Art Basel, Fondation Beyeler and emerging artists — culture as a long-term commitment, not a communications tool. In 2023, La Prairie partnered with Fondation Beyeler to fund the restoration of three Mondrian works ahead of a major retrospective. A quiet act of patronage, rooted in the idea that a brand’s relationship with art should leave something behind.

Bauhaus as Reference

Geometry, function, restraint. Bauhaus gave the brand a structural reference that connected Swiss precision with artistic clarity.

A New Identity

New Brand Identities

A quieter identity. Less decorative, more essential — built to hold across every touchpoint without losing coherence.

Form Follows Truth

Packaging System

A redesign built as a rule system — more legible, more controlled, and developed with the Chinese market in mind.

Art of Gifting

The ritual of giving translated into a precise visual language.

A Shift in Perspective

The codes stayed controlled. The writing became closer, more human, more connected to lived experience.

Old code

A visual language built on purity, symmetry and distance.

New code

The same level of control, with more warmth and proximity.

The codes held. The tone shifted.

Today

Still precise, still elevated — but closer.
